Speaker Don Scott Announces Delegate Paul Krizek as Next Chair of House General Laws Committee
RICHMOND, VA – Today, Speaker of the House of Delegates Don Scott announced that Delegate Paul Krizek (HD-16, Fairfax County) will serve as the next Chair of the House General Laws Committee, succeeding Delegate David Bulova, who has been appointed Secretary of Natural and Historic Resources.
“Delegate Krizek brings experience, steady leadership, and a clear command of the issues before the General Laws Committee,” said Speaker Don Scott. “He is a respected voice in the House with a proven record of delivering for Virginians.”

Delegate Krizek will assume leadership of the General Laws Committee, which oversees legislation related to commerce, consumer protection, and regulatory matters. A longtime member of the House representing Fairfax County, Krizek brings extensive experience and a strong working knowledge of the committee’s jurisdiction.
